What does Health Solutions West do?

We are the largest provider of mental health and addiction counseling and therapy on Colorado’s western slope, the local mental health experts with a full range services to treat and foster recovery.

Who does Health Solutions West treat?

Mental illness and addiction do not discriminate, and neither does Health Solutions West. We treat everyone who needs our mental health and/or addiction services regardless of age,race, ethnology & socio-economic levels and we are a LGBTQIA+ -affirming healing environment.

How much does it cost?

Health Solutions West has long been known in Colorado for providing the highest quality treatment at one of the lowest costs. We are a Community Mental Health Center that accepts Health First Colorado (Medicaid), Medicare and most private insurance.

Currently we are a preferred provider for Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, United Behavioral Health/Optum Health, Rocky Mountain Healthcare, LifeSynch and Value Options, as well as many Employee Assistance Programs.

Our offices are happy to work with you or your insurance company on payment options. We accept major credit cards and also offer a sliding scale fee based upon your ability to pay. For More information visit our Paying For Services page.

What kind of treatment do you offer?

You can find individual, couples, family and group therapy options at Health Solutions West, all offered in-person or via private and confidential telehealth on your computer or phone.  As an organization committed to continual improvement, Health Solutions West’s treatments are researched and proven best-practices (known as evidence-based) and award-winning.  We offer a full continuum of care for mild to severe mental health and addiction issues, with every treatment plan customized for the individual.  Visit our “What we Treat” page to learn more about specific treatment

Where can I get counseling or therapy?

If you reside on the western slope, Health Solutions West is the Colorado-designated community mental health center in Eagle, Garfield, Grand, Jackson, Mesa, Moffat, Pitkin, Rio Blanco, Routt and Summit counties.

You can visit any one of our offices or start services via the convenience of  telehealth – counseling over the phone or computer.

I don’t need help myself, I need help for someone else. How does that work?

We will work with you to assess the situation and provide support in getting your friend, family or patient to treatment. In certain circumstances we can work with you on involuntary treatment for individuals in need.

I value my privacy. How does that work?

By law and our code of ethics, Health Solutions West keeps all of your information and communications confidential. Should you require extra discretion in our lobbies and waiting rooms please let us know that prior to your arrival or when you arrive.

Do you have psychiatrists in every office?

Yes, whether in office or through the power of the Health Solutions West TeleHealth network, psychiatrists and other therapists see clients in all our 12 offices and the hospital, regardless of where the provider is located.

My child has problems. Can you help?

Health Solutions West has experts in early childhood, childhood and adolescence to address the special needs of each age.
